When I started this blog about a month ago, I was jobless. I wrote to pass time and to add to the other activities that a jobless person might do when they have no job to do. LOL. I'm making sense right?
Anyhow, I got that miraculous call one day. After all the resume passing that I did, I was called by a hospital! I don't know if I wrote about this but I passed that resume to that particular hospital about six months ago. I waited six whole months!! Now, it doesn't seem really to be that long. I had lots of important stuff that I did back then so I guess the wait was OK.
I can't believe that my Wait For Freedom would be so short. I'll be starting this Monday, May 4. I'm SO excited! I have my uniform ready and pressed. Yes, I had to get one since it's required for the first day and no there's no uniform allowance. Sucks. I know. But whatever. As long as I'm working in the hospital, that's OK.
The question now is what to do with this blog now that my Wait is over?
I could stop it altogether or I could continue on and write about my experiences as a nurse. Hmm..come to think of it. My wait is not really for the work but the wait 'til I get my freedom which I haven't really gotten..yet. Well, not entirely. I still have to report to my mother who keeps tightening her leash on me. So I guess, it's not really over yet. I'll just take this as a stepping stone towards my full freedom. LOL. And it also gives me the reason to continue blogging!

Passed The Physical Exam
Yesterday, went to the hospital again for my 1 o'clock appointment with the doctor. It's for the Physical exam. I was quite nervous since I wasn't sure if I would pass it! LOL. I know. Ridiculous.
Anyway, was finished in 5 - 10 minutes! And yes, the doctor wrote on my sheet that I was OK for work. Yey! I went to the nursing department to pass that too. The secretary then told me to that the tentative date for orientation would be on the 20th, which I already knew, and that they will call when the date's final and also for the time.
I asked about the uniform and she said it's not yet required to wear the prescribed uniform. Any white shirt and pants would do but if I didn't have any, which I didn't, I can have the uniform pattern to be sewn up.
That's it. I'm done with the pre-employment thing. Still one question lingered in my mind. Am I in???
I called up my friends, as usual, and told them what just happened and asked if I was in.
Apparently, I am.
Weeeeeeeeehh!!! I'm so excited!
I didn't think my wait for freedom would be this short!
